About Us
The UK’s Expertly Curated Art Supply Comparison Engine
Welcome to Discount Art Supplies. We are more than just a search engine; we are a dedicated resource for artists, designed to navigate the complex world of UK art retail. Our goal is to ensure that professional-grade tools remain accessible to every creator, from students to seasoned professionals.
How We Save You Money
While other sites rely on massive, unmanaged databases, we take a hands-on approach to finding value:
- Newsletter “Steals”: We actively monitor and “lift” the best deals, exclusive codes, and flash sales from various retailer newsletters. If a retailer is offering a hidden discount, you will find it posted in our High-Value Curation section.
- Curated Database of 3,000 Essentials: We focus on quality over quantity. Our database tracks approximately 3,000 of the most popular and professional-grade art supplies in the UK, providing real-time price comparisons so you never overpay for your essentials.
- Hand-Picked Steals: Our home page is updated daily with “True Steals”—deals we have manually verified as the lowest prices currently available online.
Our Business Model
Discount Art Supplies is a comparison and information service, not a direct retailer.
- The Purchase: When you find a deal you love, click “View Deal” to be redirected to the retailer’s official secure website to complete your purchase.
- Affiliate Disclosure: To keep this service free for the art community, we participate in affiliate programmes (including Awin and Rakuten). This means we may receive a small commission if you buy through our links, at no extra cost to you.
Our Roots
Based in Poulton-le-Fylde, near Blackpool, we are a small team of art enthusiasts. We believe that the right tools shouldn’t be out of reach, and we are committed to providing the transparency the art community deserves.
