Hunkydory Crafts: The Gold Standard of British Papercraft

The story of Hunkydory Crafts began in 1990 as a small needlecraft shop in Preston, founded by Ann and David Newhouse. Driven by a family passion for creativity, the business evolved from a local craft shop into a global manufacturing powerhouse. Today, Hunkydory is recognised as the UK’s leading papercraft brand, celebrated for its unique, in-house designs that make professional cardmaking accessible to everyone.

Hunkydory is most famous for its Luxury Topper Sets, which feature intricately foiled and die-cut imagery that requires no cutting—simply “pop out” and create. Their revolutionary Adorable Scorable cardstock has become an industry staple, engineered specifically to be scored and folded without cracking or feathering. The brand’s extensive range also includes the high-precision Moonstone Dies, versatile For the Love of Stamps collections, and the Prism colouring range. Whether showcased on HobbyMaker TV or through their own vibrant online community, Hunkydory continues to lead the market with “Gold Standard” quality and a commitment to helping crafters achieve spectacular results.
